MCI The Netherlands partners with Dutch Design Week 2026

MCI The Netherlands has announced a new partnership with Dutch Design Week (DDW) 2026, strengthening its connection to one of Europe's most influential platforms for design, innovation and creative thinking. The collaboration brings together two organisations that share a belief in the power of ideas, meaningful human connections and experiences that inspire action.

Held annually in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, Dutch Design Week is the largest design event in Northern Europe, attracting designers, innovators, businesses, educational institutions, policymakers and cultural organisations from around the world. Over nine days, the city becomes a living laboratory of creativity, showcasing projects, exhibitions, installations and conversations that explore how design can contribute to solving societal, technological and environmental challenges.

More than a celebration of aesthetics, DDW is known for placing design at the centre of important discussions about the future. Themes such as sustainability, circularity, emerging technologies, social innovation, health, mobility, inclusion and the future of work regularly shape the programme, offering a platform where ideas move beyond concepts and into real-world applications.

For MCI The Netherlands, the partnership reflects a recognition that creativity is not something that happens on demand, nor is it confined to meeting rooms or office walls.

New perspectives are often found by stepping outside familiar environments, engaging with different disciplines and exposing ourselves to ideas that challenge established thinking.

Dutch Design Week provides precisely that space, bringing together people and concepts that provoke curiosity, inspire experimentation and encourage fresh ways of looking at complex problems.

As an agency working at the heart of events, marketing, communications and engagement, MCI believes innovation is fuelled by openness and continuous learning.

The partnership offers an opportunity to connect with the creative communities, while encouraging its own teams and partners to look beyond daily routines and discover new sources of inspiration.

"At its core, Dutch Design Week is about bringing people, ideas and disciplines together to imagine better futures," says Peter-Willem Burgmans, Managing Director of MCI The Netherlands. "That resonates strongly with how we approach our own work. Creativity cannot simply be scheduled into a calendar or expected to appear on command. It often emerges when we step outside our usual patterns, explore new perspectives and engage with people who think differently from us. Dutch Design Week creates exactly that environment. We are proud to partner with Dutch Design Week and look forward to contributing to the conversations, creativity and collaboration that define this remarkable platform."

As Dutch Design Week 2026 approaches, MCI The Netherlands looks forward to joining designers, innovators and changemakers in Eindhoven for a week dedicated to exploring new possibilities and discovering where the next great ones might come from.
